It depends on the case type. For personal injury or car accidents, the length of time is dictated by how much medical care a client needs, by the level of cooperation we receive from medical providers to obtain records and review them, by the type of insurance coverage that exists, and by the Court’s docket and calendar. In a case wherein we settle a claim before filing a lawsuit, you can expect anywhere from 3 to 6 months on average from start to finish. Sometimes it takes longer, but again that is a case by case basis. If the case needs to go to trial, you can expect anywhere from 12 to 24 months for the case to finish.

For commercial or civil disputes, typically these cases do not settle pre-litigation. This means that these types of cases will have to file a lawsuit and proceed down that path. These cases can range from 12 to 36 months on average.

For cases that have been appealed, you can expect anywhere from 12 to 36 months additional time on average.
